1. Secure online reservations
You can make an online reservation and payment trough our booking system SkiBook. SkiBook makes use of the most modern and safe Secure Socket Layer (ssl) procedure. In collaboration with iDEAL and Paypal we will take care of your payment. Your personal details will not be shared with any third parties.
2. Cancel or change your reservation
If you make an online reservation you have 7 days to cancel or changes the reservation. If you want to make use of this possibility please send an email stating that you want to cancel or change your reservation to firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 days of your booking. If you cancel the reservation you will receive a refund within 7 days. If the first lessons starts within 7 days of your reservation you are not allowed to cancel or change it anymore.
If the lessons you book start within 7 days of the reservation you will have to pay directly after your reservation. If your reservation is made for courses that start more than 7 days after the reservation we will ask you for a deposit of €15,-. The remaining amount will have to be paid at the latest 7 days before the lessons start.
If you make a reservation by phone, email or online you can pay through iDEAL or Paypal. If the reservation is made at the reception of SkiDiscovery you can pay using PIN (no cash). Exceptions to these payment conditions are found in some of our course conditions. For example flexible lessons have to be payed directly after the reservations and monthly subscriptions are paid trough direct debit.
In case you wish to receive an invoice SkiDiscovery will charge an extra €8,50 in administration costs.
4. E-mail and newsletter
You will receive emails about the appointments for all you lessons and all our services that are related to that. Additionally we will send you a monthly newsletter to which you can unsubscribe using your SkiBook account.
5. First visit
During your first visit we kindly request you to drop by at our reception. This way we can go through your appointments and contact details. Before the start of the lesson an employee will help you choose and fit your ski- or snowboard-equipment.
6. Own risk
Skiing and snowboarding carry with them a certain amount of risk. We strongly advise you to not drink any alcoholic beverages before your lesson.The ski- or snowboard-instructor may choose to end the lesson prematurely if he or she feels safety is at risk due to intoxication. It is also beneficial to possess a certain baseline physical fitness in order to prevent injuries. We will, in our turn, do anything we can to reduce the risk of injuries as much as possible. If an injury does occur, this will be at your own risk. The financial consequences of an injury will be completely at your own cost unless the injury is the result of gross negligence or intention from SkiDiscovery.
Lesson credits will not be refunded, except for an online booking that is canceled within 7 days of the booking. With the exception of half-, full- and two-year subscriptions, lesson credits can not be transferred to the next season. No subscriptions or lesson credits can be transferred to another person. Our season ends on 31st of April of each year.
8. Rescheduling appointments
SkiDiscovery will do anything in it’s power to make sure all scheduled lessons will take place. However when you booked a lesson that has just one or only two people in it the costs would be higher than the revenu for SkiDiscovery. In that case SkiDiscovery reserves the right to reschedule your appointment. Of course we will always confirm any rescheduling with you first.
9. Food & drinks
It is not allowed to bring your own food or drinks to SkiDiscovery. I case you miss something in our assortment, let us know! We will try our best to have your favorite snack or beverage available for purchase during your next lesson.
